Four ways to spend an easy day

Whether you came to rest or to wander, the hotel leaves room for both. Warm timber, soft light and plenty of space between one pleasure and the next.

The Cedar Spa

A steam room, a cedar sauna and a heated pool that looks across the lake. Treatments are by appointment.

Shoreline Trail

A gentle four-mile path around the water. Guides set out at sunrise, and maps are at reception for those who prefer to walk alone.

The Jetty

Rowboats, paddle boards and canvas chairs. Borrow whatever you like and return it by dusk.

The Reading Room

Deep armchairs, a log fire and shelves of well-thumbed books. Tea and cake are served from three o'clock.
